Find your stain, find your bottle
Fresh pee, still damp: Nature's Miracle. Blot, soak as deep as the pee went, let it air dry.

How to use either one so it actually works
Find every spot. A UV flashlight in a dark room shows the ones your nose missed.
Blot up what you can with paper towels. Press, don't rub.
Soak the spot until the cleaner reaches as deep as the pee did. On carpet that means the pad, not just the fibers.
Leave it. Fresh spots get the label's wait time; old spots get the night. Enzymes only work while the spot is wet, so cover it with plastic wrap if it dries too fast.
After the wait, press towels on it or use a wet vac to pull out the extra liquid, then let it air dry. A sopping spot left for days adds a mildew smell.
Sniff it the next day, nose close. Still there? Do a second round before you blame the bottle.
What not to do

No steam cleaner first. High heat kills Rocco & Roxie's enzymes, so let it sit overnight before any steam goes near it.
No vinegar or bleach chaser. Rinse anything else out before the enzyme cleaner goes on.
No light misting. A spritz cleans the top fibers and leaves the smell in the pad, which is how a spot keeps smelling.
When neither bottle is the answer
If two full soaks with dry time in between still leave a smell, the pee is probably in the pad or the subfloor. Pull back a corner and check. A soaked pad usually needs replacing, and no spray is going to argue with that.
Not at the same time. Finish one round, let it dry, then switch if the first didn't do it.
Are they safe around my dog?
Follow each label and keep pets off the spot until it's dry. If your dog licks a wet spot, call your vet with the bottle in hand.
