How to use it so the smell stays gone

Soak the spot as deep as the pee went and give it time. Enzymes only work where they touch the pee and only while they stay wet.

1. Blot up as much as you can first.
2. Spray until the spot is soaked as deep as the pee went. On carpet that's often the pad.
3. Wait. A few minutes on a fresh spot, then blot. Tougher or older stains: let it sit longer before you blot.
4. Blot again with a clean white cloth. Blot, never rub, or you push the mess deeper.
5. Let it air dry completely, usually overnight.

Then smell the spot up close. Faint pee smell means some is still down in the pad, so treat it again; old stains can take 2 or 3 rounds.

Check again on a humid day. Damp air brings back pee smell that was only partly treated, which makes it the real test of gone versus covered.
